With the pandemic, the candy industry dropped drastically; our main consumers, young people and children are at home.
Analyzing the market in 2021, we realized that the “enchilada” (spicy) candy sub-category was clearly starting to regain strength.
Our client Dulces Vero, the most iconic candy brand in Mexico, decided to combine its large enchilado candy portfolio and launch an advertising campaign promoting this product line at the right time; a few months before the back-to-school season.
When developing the marketing campaign, we found a small logo that used to be in the packaging of our products and we decided to maximize that finding, give it depth and make it our communication flag, that’s how ENCHILOVEROS was born, a success case of the category.
